Bodybuilding Program For Abs Training

Most people want stunning abs. For some reason a well-defined six pack whether as male or female is a type of status symbol when it comes to fitness. A proper bodybuilding program will ensure that you build a beautiful pack of abs especially if you train under guidance of Hennie Kotze as one of the top bodybuilders in South Africa.

Working on your abs alone will not do the trick. By training all the relevant muscle groups in a well balanced bodybuilding program, the abs also get their fair share. It is, however, important to give abs training a special workout once a week in a bodybuilding program if the abs muscles are underdeveloped. When the abs are well toned, it will also mean that you will fit in your desired pant size and following a well worked out bodybuilder program will certainly help you get there sooner. Bottom line is that abs must be trained like every other part of the body. Twice weekly training in a body building program, focussing on the abs with around 150 to 400 repetitions in total, should be your goal.

Hennie Kotze will provide you with a complete bodybuilding workout program for abs training. Two of the abs training exercises normally forming part of such a bodybuilder’s program are that of the rope and cable crunching and the stomach vacuum action. Many more exercises vital to optimal abs building form part of such a program.

While training the abs in two sessions a week, keep in mind that adequate, balanced nutrition is required. If you workout and eat fatty foods you only waste your time. Get the help you need to develop stunning abs through a proven bodybuilding program. View the training videos of Hennie and contact him for a body assessment and workout plan.

Training Schedule

Throughout my bodybuilding career I would say a big challenge for me was to prove that conditioning rules and not size.

I train 5 to 6 days per week. I prefer to train 1 muscle group per day and I totally exhaust that group with 4 - 5 exercises.
