IFBB bodybuilders who wish to obtain the Pro Card Status must provide the following information and documents along with their initial applications:

IFBB bodybuilders are divided into the following categories:

The novice athlete stays a novice for the first year and may stay a novice for another year if the athlete has not receive placement of fourth or lower in any of the divisions at one of the Provincial shows and has not succeeded in being selected for participation in the IFBB SA Novice Champs or for participation in the IFBB SA National Champs of the particular year. One can then re-enter as novice for another year. Should the novice take time off the year directly after, he or she will no longer have the novice status. This will mean that the person will have to enter in the open divisions in the year that the person returns. From the above information it becomes clear that commitment is required from IFBB bodybuilders even at the novice level.

If you wish to build a career as one of the IFBB bodybuilders the first step is to contact Hennie Kotze for a training program, advice, and eating guidance.

Training Schedule

I train 5 to 6 days per week. I prefer to train 1 muscle group per day and I totally exhaust that group with 4 - 5 exercises.
