Bodybuilding Workouts

Effective Bodybuilding Workouts And Top Nutrition

Bodybuilding workouts differ from normal gym workouts in that their purpose is to exhaust muscle groups completely in order to build those muscle groups to achieve their maximum size.  Because of the intensity of the training, bodybuilding cannot be performed without a planned and balanced nutrition regime and the use of the appropriate supplements to help the body to recover between workouts and the muscles to repair themselves and grow.

Finding the Right Gym

Many of the mainstream gyms cater mostly for recreational trainers and do not necessarily have the experts to assist you with proper bodybuilding workouts.  This shortcoming has lead to the emergence of specialised bodybuilding gyms where bodybuilders come together to train and where expert assistance and equipment are on hand.  If you are serious about your bodybuilding aspirations and you prefer to train with likeminded people, you would do well to sign up at such a specialised bodybuilding gym.

Of course, it takes a lot of time, dedication and hard work to become an excellent bodybuilder and this calls for careful time management, since you have to somehow fit top quality bodybuilding workouts into the time slots you have available.  If you can only spare an hour or two per day because of your busy lifestyle, those hours should not be wasted and you would have to sit down with a bodybuilding expert to help you compile a proper training programme for your bodybuilding needs.

Compiling the Right Programme

Because bodybuilding workouts aim to completely exhaust muscle groups, they are time-intensive and usually require six days to get through all the muscle groups.  At the same time, one has to keep in mind that muscles recover at different rates and that some muscles require more stimulation to reach their full potential; consequently, some groups are trained more than once during the course of the six days.  The idea is to stick to the programme religiously for six to eight weeks before taking a rest and refreshing your training principles with a different routine.

Therefore, each person's bodybuilding workouts may be different and below follows a simple example of what your six-day workout may look like:

For the best results, it is important to stick to the programme and never miss a workout.  You can rest on Day 7!

The Right Nutrition and Supplements

You cannot maintain a routine of intensive bodybuilding workouts without a proper nutrition regime and a range of supplements to help your muscles recover and grow.  In terms of eating habits...

In terms of supplements, few products can add as much value and results to your bodybuilding workouts as those of SSN (Scientific Sports Nutrition).  They have a range of products for all your bodybuilding needs, from fat burners and anabolic supplements to protein shakes and supplements for muscle gain.  CLA is an example of a weight-loss product and fat burner from SSN and this proven product has been on the market for nearly twenty years.  Consider the following features:

Training Schedule

Throughout my bodybuilding career I would say a big challenge for me was to prove that conditioning rules and not size.

I train 5 to 6 days per week. I prefer to train 1 muscle group per day and I totally exhaust that group with 4 - 5 exercises.
