This type of exercise will increase the amount of exercise in your blood and types of exercise are swimming, cycling or jogging.

 Muscular fitness helps to increase your bone strength and there is a variety of exercises you can do, for example free weights, resistance bands or you can use your own body weight with push  ups for example.

Thirdly there is stretching which is important to help relieve muscular aches and pains caused by the contraction and flexing of muscles during aerobic and muscular training. Proper stretching will help to improve the range of motion in your joints and will even help to relieve stress.  

Core stability is the fourth area of focus in fitness training. The stronger the muscles are in your lower back, abdomen and pelvis, the better you will be able to use the muscles in your upper and lower body. Abdominal crunches are one of the easiest exercises you can do to help strengthen your core muscles.  

The final aspect of a well rounded fitness training programme is balance. Good balance will help with better overall wellbeing and will even help protect you in older age against fractures and falls.

Throughout my bodybuilding career I would say a big challenge for me was to prove that conditioning rules and not size.

I train 5 to 6 days per week. I prefer to train 1 muscle group per day and I totally exhaust that group with 4 - 5 exercises.
