Most of us do it every day, but we don’t value the true impact of walking. Research has indicated that 10 000 steps a day will maintain weight, improve cardiovascular health and help prevent chronic diseases of lifestyle (diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and cancer). Increasing your steps doesn’t need to be hard work. Rather use the stairs than the lifts or escalators and park as far away from the shops as possible.
