Build Muscle Mass

Build muscle mass the right way

Most things in life need to be done in stages – take building a wall. You wont start laying the bricks without having a proper foundation, making sure that it is level and will withstand the effects of the elements. The same goes when you want to build muscle mass. You need to get the basics right so that you can start building and sculpting your body into what you want it to be.

The first and most important thing you need to do is make the decision that you will start with a programme and follow through with it. Bodybuilding is tough and you need be motivated and determined.

Your next step to build muscle mass will be to plan your exercise programme. If this is your first entry into the world of bodybuilding, it is suggested that you get advice from someone like Hennie Kotze. He is an accredited bodybuilding trainer with years of experience in all aspects of bodybuilding.

Once you are inside the gym, you have to practice good form. Good form is essential to build muscle mass – without it you may not get the results you want, or even hurting yourself, preventing further exercise for some time.

You should also look at changing your eating habits. It’s not use exercising six days a week and you are eating take-aways every night. Nutrition is just as important as doing the right exercises with good form.

Training Schedule

I train 5 to 6 days per week. I prefer to train 1 muscle group per day and I totally exhaust that group with 4 - 5 exercises.
